Having completely gutted the entire house, textile designer and illustrator Eleanor Bowmer and husband Ollie had the rare opportunity to design their dream main suite from scratch, complete with a walk-in wardrobe and a boutique hotel-inspired bathroom.
1 THE STARTING POINT
'My inspiration was Hollywood glamour with a retro feel, which is quite eclectic, I know,' laughs Eleanor. 'I knew from the beginning that I wanted to use wallpaper and brass finishes to give the space a high-end vibe and that I wanted a statement bath to be the star of the show - it was never going to be white!'
