COULD ONE OF HOLLYWOOD'S LONGEST FEUDS FINALLY BE COMING TO AN END?
CLINT AND SHIRLEY MAKE PEACE after 50 years!

There's a very good reason why Shirley MacLaine and Clint Eastwood only worked together once.

Despite each earning a Laurel Award nomination for their 1970 box-office hit Two Mules for Sister Sara, Clint and Shirley would refuse to work together again and avoid being in the same room for the next 50 years thanks to an ugly on-set fallout between Shirley and the director, Don Siegel.

Don, who died in 1991, didn't mince his words when asked what he thought of Shirley, who had been called on by the studio to replace Elizabeth Taylor in the film.

"It's hard to feel any great warmth to her.

She's too unfeminine and has too much balls," said Don, who later directed Clint in Dirty Harry.
