WE THOUGHT WE'D LOSE HIM'

Jess Lines still shudders as she recalls witnessing one of the worst things any parent can ever see.

On December 8, 2022, Jess watched, helplessly, as her one-year-old son Ryan went into cardiac arrest. The youngster required 10 minutes of CPR to bring him back, but even then, Jess and her husband Sam, both 31, were told their boy probably wouldn’t make it.

Jess says Ryan’s symptoms began with a simple cold.
