DIDI CONN AS FRENCHY

Grease still remains the word for Didi. She reprised her role as loveable beauty school dropout Frenchy in the 1982 sequel alongside Michelle Pfeiffer, and made a cameo as waitress Vi in 2016’s Grease Live!

When asked about Grease’s enduring popularity, Didi, now 71, credits the cast’s genuine exuberance as the reason it’s been “passed on from generation to generation”.

Since splitting from her first husband the year Grease premiered, Didi has been married to David Shire for nearly 40 years. They have one son.
