CHRISTMAS IS SET TO BE A TENSE FOR THE FRACTURED FAMILY
Wills & Charles: DIVIDED OVER HARRY'S HOMECOMING!

It's supposed to be the most wonderful time of year. But for King Charles and William, the Prince of Wales, this festive season is shaping up to be anything but.

While they've weathered many storms together in recent times, the King and his heir are said to be at loggerheads over who'll be invited to Sandringham House for the family's traditional Christmas lunch.

Reports suggest Charles wants to include his estranged youngest son and daughter-in-law, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex - but Wills vehemently opposes the idea. He's even threatened to boycott the event it they do turn up! "William has closed his mind to the prospect of reconciliation with Prince Harry," royal expert Jennie Bond told The Sun newspaper. Wills, 41, won't be "shedding a tear" if Harry's is absent again at Christmas, Jennie added.

Harry hasn't spent Christmas in the UK since 2018. Sources reveal that he is beginning to feel "more homesick of late".

While US-based Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, have tried to give their children Prince Archie, four and Princess Lilibet, two, a British-style Christmas in Montecito, it isn't the same as the real thing.
