HE'S three weeks older than his manager and has scored ten times as many club goals than the rest of the Rochdale squad put together, but lan Henderson is not about to down tools anytime yet.
From the Premier League to League Two, the old English First Division to even the Turkish Super Lig, the 38-year-old has pretty much crossed off every box in the bucket list of every top professional.
This year, however, represents a whole new ball game in the National League for the diminutive striker - and the Dale talisman is loving every minute of it.
So far, a first ever foray in English football's fifth tier has yielded five goals for the former Norwich City and Colchester United frontman, who is showing no absolutely signs of letting up.
Fans' favourite Henderson TI completed a popular return for a third spell at Spotland from local rivals Salford City last summer, but couldn't save Dale from dropping out of the Football League for the first time in their 102year history.
With the club in turmoil and teammate Jimmy McNulty in caretaker charge, no-one would have blamed the club's G 182-goal all-time leading goalscorer if he decided to call time on his career there and then.
But the club stalwart insists the thought of retirement had never entered his head, with his focus set solely on helping to lift Rochdale back to where they belong.
