HUNDREDS of thousands of homes and businesses in remote parts of the country will finally get fast broadband in an £8m upgrade which will be announced by the Government today.
Technology Secretary Peter Kyle, inset, said the connections will benefit 312,000 addresses.
He described it as a "rocket boost" to the Daily Express's regional connectivity campaign which has been highlighting the plights' of people with poor digital access.
