¹2 Cavendish knife thugs still on runʼ

TWO further suspects wanted over a knifepoint robbery at the home of cyclist Mark Cavendish have still not been traced by police, a court heard.

Officers have been unable to find the pair over the raid in which Cavendish, 37, was beaten by thugs who stole £700,000 of watches.

Two other men deny two counts of robbery and are on trial.

A third man previously pleaded guilty but police have been unable to find Jo Jobson and George Goddard who had been identified from phone data.

Jurors heard inquiries to find them were “sensitive” and could not be shared in public.

Prosecutor Edward Renvoize said : “Although they haven’t been apprehended by police, the prosecution says it’s quite clear they were involved.”
