A RAT-PLAGUED dad has torn his home to pieces in a last-ditch attempt to get rid of the vermin.
David Hallard, 42, says the critters have tunnelled through the insulation of his home aptly named Wits End - and turned the place into a "biological health hazard".
They have destroyed the kitchen ceiling, left faeces all over the house, cut off the water mains and chewed through the power supply six times.
