JHON DURAN'S late double gave Tom Hanks and Unai Emery - a Hollywood ending.
And served up a late tragedy for Reds' boss Jurgen Klopp.
In front of watching Hollywood royalty Tom Hanks it was a case of Duran, Duran and the wild boys as he secured a vital point for his Spanish boss.
The Colombian striker sparked wild scenes at Villa Park with a brace inside three minutes late on denied Klopp the perfect preparation for his Anfield send-off this weekend.
Duran had been called off the bench by Villa boss Unai Emery more out of hope than expectation but he set in motion a late fightback that breathed fresh life into Villa's Champions League chase.
Villa's chances of securing the victory necessary to secure fourth spot appeared to be receding fast as an own goal from Emi Martinez, a Cody Gakpo tap-in and Jarell Quansah header left the Reds in the box seat.
But Duran was the master of his own script as he latched onto Moussa Diaby's pass and laced a drive into the bottom corner.
