A PITBULL terrier is said to have attacked a young schoolboy just days before it allegedly killed a 42-year-old man.

Akif Mustaq died after allegedly being attacked by the animal, named Prince, before 4.30am on Wednesday.

He was seen being stretchered out of a second-floor property by police and paramedics about 90 minutes later and was pronounced dead in hospital after suffering injuries to his neck, windpipe, thigh and thumb.

It is alleged the same dog set upon the boy in Stratford, East London, on November 18. Footage obtained by the Mirror showed a brown-coloured dog jump up and lunge at the face of the lad as he walked home from school.
