Barry's heartache as he reveals tragic daughter inspired him in jungle stint

BOXING legend Barry McGuigan told how he felt his late daughter was by his side in the I'm a Celebrity jungle, adding he would not have got so far without her.

He said he took comfort from thinking of Danika, 33, who died five weeks after being diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2019.

Viewers had watched Barry break down talking about her to campmates in the most emotional scenes of the show to date.

Speaking to the Mirror after becoming the latest celeb to be evicted, he opened up about how Danika inspired him in his jungle stint.

Barry, 63, said: "My daughter died in 2019, which has broken our hearts.
