Power cut forces airport to cancel all flights from 2 of its 3 terminals

THOUSANDS of passengers were hit by long delays and flight cancellations after a power spike at Manchester Airport yesterday.

Huge queues snaked around the airport after Terminals 1 and 2 were severely affected by the issue.

Managing director Chris Woodroofe said 20% of the day's flights had been canceled and 40% had departed.

He said: "My sincere apologies to every single passenger who has been impacted by what has gone on.
