KEIR Starmer has paid back more than £6,000 of gifts and hospitality he has received since becoming Prime Minister.
Mr Starmer, who has been in a freebies row for weeks, is covering the cost of six Taylor Swift tickets, four to horse racing and a clothing rental agreement with a designer for his wife Victoria.
He said it was "right" to repay the donations while new rules for ministers accepting gifts were drawn up.
"We are going to bring forward principles for donations because until now, politicians have used their best individual judgment on a case-by-case basis," he said yesterday.
