TREAT HOSPITALS VAPING UNDER 5S

KIDS under the age of five are being admitted to hospital after vaping.

NHS England figures showed 11 children in that age range were hospitalised because of e-cigarettes in 2023.

Experts warn acute use of vapes can cause the lungs to bleed and leak air.

It is thought that young children are getting hold of their parents' e-cigarettes, which can be brightly coloured and come in fruit flavours.

Last year, there were 50 admissions to hospital for vaping-related disorders among those aged under 20, up from six in 2020.
