A TATTOO of Uncle Joe's Mint Balls keeps a US tourist all aglow with memories of a great visit to Wigan.
Kristi Kimmel, 48, has journeyed across several continents and seen some amazing sights but her sleeve tattoo includes just one nod to her travels - her tribute to Wigan's finest.
It shows the logo with the fictional Uncle Joe and his promise that the boiled sweets will "Keep You All Aglow".
Kristi fell for the brand while visiting friend Alice Kinley in the town where the balls have been made since 1898.
