A BABY was diagnosed with an ultra-rare disorder which affects fewer than 100 people in the world after doctors noticed he went stiff while sleeping.
In September, Louie Smith was born 12 weeks early after mum Nancie, 23, went to hospital complaining of back pain and a possible urinary tract infection.
Nancie had planned to give birth in Israel as the baby's dad, Andrew, 29, was working there.&nbsp;But they were told Nancie was in labour and Louie was born hours later, weighing only 3lb 7oz.

Doctors discovered he had a rare genetic disorder. He is now at Aberdeen Children's Hospital&nbsp;but Nancie and Andrew hope to get him home soon.
As a thank you to Ronald McDonald House Glasgow and The Archie Foundation, Andrew plans to run the equivalent of six non-stop marathons from Glasgow to Aberdeen on June 1 and hopes to raise &pound;50,000.
