Champion uses AI technology to be free of threats

SCOTS badminton star Kirsty Gilmour has turned to AI computer experts in a bid to beat vicious internet trolls.

She said she was working with software companies to block death threats and abuse on social media.

Last year she revealed she had been sent rape threats and abuse from suspected gamblers who had bet on matches she lost.

Gilmour, 30, from Glasgow, said new computer systems had helped cut down the messages.

But she said some horrific taunts still manage to get through her cyber shield.
