Allan Beacham admitted plundering Thunderbirds writer Alan Pattillo's finances after being "entrusted" to care for him.
While living in a house bought for him by Emmy winner Alan, Beacham stole thousands of pounds from the blind and immobile pensioner to "dig himself out of the hole" which he had created through gambling.
Salisbury Crown Court previously heard Beacham, 66, spent &pound;25,000 on lottery tickets in 19 months and would regularly steal from the OAP to fuel this addiction.

The carer pled guilty to stealing cash between January 2017 and June 2019 from Alan,&nbsp;who died aged 90 in 2020 after suffering from Parkinson's.
Scot Alan directed the first Thunderbirds episode in 1965.
He moved to Aberdeenshire after retiring and Beacham, then employed by Miracle Workers, would visit his home to care for him.
In 2017, Alan moved to Salisbury to be closer to his family and brought &pound;40,000-ayear Beacham with him as a personal full-time carer.
Beacham, 66, agreed to the move if Alan bought a house for him to live in, then requested cash from lawyers to pay for Alan's expenses after taking control of his finances.
Beacham, of Wootton, Kent, will be sentenced in March.
