POLICE Scotland are checking on the welfare of several Scots who bought "suicide kits" online.

Ninety-three people have died after buying products which have been sold on Canadian websites to almost 300 people in the UK.

St Andrews University student Tom Parfett, from Berkshire, was one of the victims who died after purchasing a lethal substance for around £50.

The 22-year-old, who studied at St Andrews University, died in 2021 at a hotel in Surrey and it is believed the poison he ordered is linked to a website run by Kenneth Law.
