The 69-year-old woman was crossing the road on New Year's Eve when she was hit by a grey Yamaha MT-07.
The incident happened on Mosspark Drive in Glasgow between the junctions with Arbroath&nbsp;Avenue and Tealing Avenue.
The woman suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where her condition was serious but stable.
The stolen motorbike was travelling north towards Paisley Road West when it hit the woman and made off in the direction of Tealing Avenue. Yesterday,&nbsp;Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: "We are following a number of inquiries to trace the rider who made off from the scene.
"Our road checks on Saturday identified potential witnesses who had not previously spoken to officers.
"I am also appealing to the motorbike rider to do the right thing and come forward.
