Dubai hell grandad finally on way home

A GRANDAD detained in Dubai after a row with neighbours is flying home to Scotland.

Ian MacKeller was facing prison when asking to turn the noise down at a Hogmanay party resulted in him being being arrested and accused of trespass.

The 75-year-old from Aberdeenshire was on a trip to the Middle East with his wife Carol to visit their daughter and 18-month granddaughter at Christmas.

Ian asked neighbours to turn their music down during the party but when no one answered, he asked guests in the garden to move the noise inside.
