FAKE NURSE SECURITY WARNING ARREST

A MAN admitted impersonating a nurse at Scotland's flagship hospital repeatedly over a four-month period.

Lee Woods, 28, wore NHS clothing and a badge at Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital from March until his arrest at the hospital on July 18, 2023.

Last night there were calls for Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board to urgently review security following the breach.

Court papers state Woods conducted himself in a disorderly manner and committed a breach of the peace by repeatedly attending the hospital's resuscitation and children's areas while wearing NHS clothing.

Woods, of Greenock, was not an employee and made no direct contact with any patient.
