£370m resort gets special permission to serve rich players early morning drinks on its course

A £370million playground for the mega-rich has been given the green light to serve earlymorning booze to golfers from a cart.

Taymouth Castle, in Perth and Kinross, is being turned into an exclusive resort by US-based Discovery Land Company involving billionaire philanthropist John Paul De Joria.

There will be space for 145 homes, costing at least £4million each, an on-site 18-hole golf course and an equestrian centre.
