GROWTH HORMONES LINKED TO DEMENTIA

SCIENTISTS believe they have found the first cases of Alzheimer's being passed between people.

A link has been made between a rare medical procedure involving human donors and the development of the disease.

Five out of eight patients given c-hGH a growth hormone derived from corpses, which was banned in 1985 - showed Alzheimer's symptoms between the ages of 38 and 55.
