AFTER netting a first-half hat-trick Dundee's Simon Murray could have been forgiven for thinking that he was a shoo-in for the man-of-the-match award.
Instead, the accolade went to Josh Mulligan who didn't score but still got the nod courtesy of a performance over the weekend bursting with power and precision in the thrashing of Inverness.
And the Scotland Under-21 midfielder hopes that display shows he's finally over what was the most testing and frustrating term of his career so far.
Mulligan said: "We got a goal early on and I had a feeling it was going to be three or four anyway. If I could shoot straight I would have been on the scoresheet as well.
"I have always believed in myself and that is the sort of performance I can showcase.
