THE average fatcat boss will have raked in more by midday today than a typical worker will all year.

According to the High Pay Centre think tank, the typical chief executive of a FTSE 100 company is paid just over £4.2million a year.

That is 113 times the average full-time worker's pay of £37,430.

As with last year, data suggests that CEOs will have to work fewer than three days of 2025 to surpass the annual pay of a typical worker.
