THE family of slain gangster Marc Webley are planning to “celebrate his life” with a party at a plush hotel.
Webley, 38, was gunned down outside the Anchor Inn on Edinburgh’s West Granton Road minutes before the bells on Hogmanay.
The hood was targeted after taunting his rivals in online videos in the hours leading up to his death.
His sister, Rebecca Ramsay, has publicly shared details of the event, to be held at the Village Hotel in the city at the end of the month.
In a Facebook post, she wrote: “We would like to invite all of my brother’s friends and family to come together and celebrate the life of Marc Webley.
“We will be hosting an event on Wednesday, February 28, from 5 pm-1 am at The Village Hotel to give him the send-off he deserves.
