Gogic signed new deal as he loves family vibe at Saints

ALEX GOGIC admits he feels like one of the family after opting to stay at home with St Mirren.

The battling defender has delighted the Paisley faithful after agreeing to a new three-year contract.

The big Cypriot has been a leading figure in Saints' push for Europe, even scoring the opener in last week's win over Dundee which means they have a Conference League slot well within their grasp.

The 30-year-old, however, had a major decision to make as his deal ticked down.

With rival offers on the table, Gogic could have packed up and moved on.

In the end, though, it was an easy call to sign on again.
