A GOOD Samaritan came to the aid of his hero Paul Gascoigne after finding him "battered and bruised" outside a hotel.
Terry Swinton, 54, was staying in a Travelodge on Bournemouth seafront.
He went outside for a cigarette and saw the Rangers legend arguing with two people. Terry said he didn't see any fight but it was clear from Gazza's injuries that something had happened to him.
