BRITAIN'S oldest referee has no plans to give his beloved career the red card at age 90.
Frank Foster has taken charge of more than 5000 matches over 43 years and vowed to never stop. He played the game in his younger days but had to stop in the early 50s because of a knee injury.
Taking his first game in November 1980, he referees men's, women's and children's games three times a week.
He said: "This will be my 44th year of refereeing. Obviously I can't run as fast when I was playing.
"But I can anticipate a move and go with it. I'm up and down like a yo-yo I tell people that I'll need a moped." Frank, from Sheffield, Yorkshire, has four children, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and scored 98 per cent on his ref's exam in 1980.

He said: "I talk to both teams and tell them to be careful with their tackles and there's no arguing. I always go straight in and sort them out. I love it because you're making the players abide to the rules.
