Miller reckons he’s Well ready to be real leader for Steelmen

LENNON MILLER admits the little boy of last season has now become a man after being handed the keys to Motherwell's midfield.

The precocious 17-year-old was the stand-out as the Fir Park side made heavy weather of a Group G win over Clyde, continually misfiring in front of goal.

Moses Ebiye's early opener for Well was levelled by Lee Hamilton before Miller won and converted a penalty with Filip Stuparevic's late curler settling the issue.

But it was Miller's authority and creative spark that caught the eye as he insists he's come of age amongst experienced peers.

He said: "Last season, I was probably kind of tentative like a wee boy but this season I have kind of grown up and I have got the leadership skills.
