JAMES McAvoy has revealed he turns down parts if the film involves animals because he's allergic to them.
The X-Men star, 43, joked he's even allergic to his CGI snow leopard Stelmaria in the current series of His Dark Materials which ends on Sunday.
The Glaswegian, who plays Lord Asriel in the TV series and was Xavier in the X-Men franchise, admitted: "I'm allergic to so many animals, cats, dogs.
"Someone sent me something [about a part] today, asking. Is it just horses you're allergic to?'
