Jihadi Jack mum's plea: Let my boy come home

THE mother of suspected Isis terrorist Jihadi Jack is calling for him to be evacuated out of Syria.

Sally Lane, 61, said son Jack Letts, 29, should be returned home to Britain or Canada - where he also has citizenship to be tried in courts there.

It comes after Muslim convert Letts gave an interview from a Kurdish jail in Syria denying ever belonging to Isis.

He told a journalist he had "no problem" being taken back to Canada, even if he had to "rot in prison" there.

Letts declared himself an "enemy of Britain after fleeing his Oxfordshire home to fight in Syria in 2014.
