SCOTLAND squad new boy Arron Reed turned out for England's Under-18 and Under-20 teams a few years back.

But there was no way his Scottish family were going to let him win a cap for the full England side - and now he is close to realising their dream of turning out for Gregor Townsend's team in the Six Nations.

Sale Sharks winger Reed is one of five uncapped players in head coach Townsend's Championship squad. And with Darcy Graham out injured for at least the first two games, the 24-year-old has a good chance of making his debut in the coming weeks.
