ONE explosive 15-minute rant was all it took for Craig Bryson to understand what makes Neil Warnock tick as he found himself in the firing line for a half-time rocket.
Nine months later and it was the Scot and his Cardiff teammates who were blasting off into the Premier League fuelled by the most passionate boss Bryson has ever encountered.
The ex-Aberdeen midfielder is not at all surprised to see the 75-year-old being courted for the top job at Pittodrie.
While some sneer at his old school methods made famous by a series of viral clips from his days as boss of Sheffield United, others point to one all important fact his record EIGHT promotions won in the English game.
The last of those came in 2017-18 when he guided Cardiff back into the top-flight as runners-up to Wolves.
Bryson was a surprise summer deadline-day signing that season and went on to become a key player in the Bluebirds engine room.
A year-long loan from Derby meant he got to enjoy the success without reaping the benefits the following season as he returned to his parent club. But he'll never forget the fun of working under Warnock Or the dressing-room rants
