CELTIC are on the verge of scooping £4.2million for Oh Hyeon-gyu with the hitman agreeing personal terms on a switch to Genk.

The 23-year-old attacker has been in talks with the Belgian top-flight outfit over the last 48 hours and Oh is understood to have thrashed out terms on a move.

Celtic have yet to rubberstamp the deal but are unlikely to stand in Oh's way after the front man slipped down the pecking order at Parkhead.

The South Korea star has made just three substitute appearances for the Hoops since the turn of the year after the arrival of Adam Idah on loan from Norwich City.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on snapping up the Canaries' Ireland international on a permanent deal but could be made to wait until after the Championship side return for pre-season training next month.
