A PEAKY Blinders superfan has been shown mercy after he was accused of trying to steal a life-sized cardboard cut-out of Tommy Shelby.

Graham Stupart, 45, armed himself with a drill and appeared to unscrew a shop window fixture to get his hands on the TV character.

When he was confronted by the owner of the fancy dress shop in Dundee, he said: "This is mine! You better f*** off. What are you going to do about it? You should be scared of someone like me."
