POLICE CHIEF QUITS WITH BLAST OVER FUNDING

POLICE Scotland Chief Constable Sir lain Livingstone yesterday announced he is quitting the force - after hitting out at budget cuts.

The announcement came as he and Lynn Brown, chief executive of the SPA, published a report claiming policing north of the Border is "unsustainable".
