New exhibition marks a century of royal portrait photography

UNSEEN images of the Royal Family are revealed in a stunning exhibition at Buckingham Palace.

Images taken by top photographers such as Dorothy Wilding, Cecil Beaton, Annie Leibovitz, David Bailey, Andy Warhol and Rankin celebrate 100 years of royal portrait photography.

Among the highlights are a family photograph marking the birth of four royal babies and the earliest surviving colour photo of a member of the Royal Family The image of Queen Elizabeth, Princess Margaret, Princess Alexandra and the Duchess of Kent shows the four proud royal mothers holding their newborn babies at Kensington Palace.
