IAN Murray branded Humza Yousaf "desperate" for claiming there was no point in voting Labour because the party is going to win the general election.

The First Minister had admitted Keir Starmer would win the election but said Scottish Labour MPs would "just make up the numbers in Westminster".

Shadow Scotland Secretary Murray said the First Minister's line of argument actually meant "there's no point in voting SNP".
