STARMER TO BOOST WORKERS' RIGHTS

THE Labour Government is expected to announce it’s beefing up workers’ rights in the King’s Speech today.

A landmark bill to boost protections for employees is expected to be a key part of the UK Government’s agenda.

It will also lay out legislation around Scots-headquartered public company GB Energy.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer said a raft of more than 30 bills will “take back control” by “creating wealth in every community”.

He added that it is “time to take the brakes off Britain”.
