A COUPLE who built their dream £650,000 mansion have lost a last gasp battle to save it from demolition.
David and Dawn Allan built a huge villa in their home town of Gorebridge, Midlothian.
They submitted plans to Midlothian Council in 2018 and started construction but were refused retrospective planning permission.
