The special Yan

JOSH SIMS hopes silent leader Yan Dhanda stays to spearhead Ross County's survival bid.

The Dingwall skipper is moving to Hearts in the summer with a pre-contract agreement sealed. Dhanda will remain in the Highlands for the rest of the campaign unless the Tynecastle club fork out the right cash to land him now.

The 25-year-old is keeping his focus despite the transfer issues and led from the front in the Staggies' draw at Livingston.

Sims is full of admiration for his team-mate and said: "Yan is a fantastic player but it shows what type of player he is, having all that going on in the background and putting that to one side.

"He could easily have had his head turned but he really switched on.
