CELEBRITY hairdresser Trevor Sorbie has revealed he has weeks left to live.The 75-year-old, from Paisley, who found fame with the creation of the wedge cut, revealed he has bowel cancer that has spread to his liver.Appearing on ITV's This Morning with his wife Carole yesterday, he revealed he was told in June that he had "maybe six months to live but kept working as "medicine".Carole said: "We were in a bit of denial. And then you had the last scan, which was September, and that's when you realise no treatment is going to work." Four-time hairdresser of the year Sorbie, who has a popular haircare brand in his name, got his bowel cancer diagnosis after going to hospital when he lost a lot of blood one night.He said he and Carole were left "speechless" at the news and it prompted him to have a "little panic attack" in his office.The stylist explained the cancer had spread to his liver and he has had six-hour operations to remove sections of it but his surgeon can no longer operate because it's too close to a major blood vessel.Trevor said: "I never wake up thinking, 'Oh, poor me. I've got cancer I feel sorry for myself."I go to work, well up until two weeks ago, two days a week, and I go there because that's my medicine."
