Men left lagging behind in death-rate risks

WOMEN CAN GAIN WITH LESS PAIN

WOMEN who exercise regularly benefit more than men - even when they put in less effort, a study claims.

Data from 400,000 US adults over 20 years shows women were 24 per cent less likely to experience death from any cause while men were only 15 per cent less likely.

Women also had a 36 per cent reduced risk of a fatal heart attack, stroke, or other cardiovascular
