AIRLINES are demanding Britain's air traffic control body pays the estimated &pound;100million bill for this week's flight delay chaos.
A National Air Traffic Services system meltdown, caused by a flight plan being input incorrectly, led to thousands of people being stranded across the globe.
Willie Walsh, a former British Airways boss who now runs an International Air Transport Association, said: "It's very unfair because the air traffic control system that was at the heart of this failure doesn't pay a single penny. This is what really frustrates and angers airlines."
The boss of demanded a "full easyJet has independent review" is launched into the failure.&nbsp;
