The soup is being sold at Gouqi restaurant in London, where an eight-course deluxe tasting menu is an unbelievable &pound;1,520.
Monk Jumps Over The Wall is predominately made from animal products including quail eggs, scallops, chicken, pork, as well as shark fin. It's reportedly so delicious, it would make vegetarian monks jump their monastery wall and eat meat.
Yet many diners have been left horrified by the price.
One called JB said online: "For the prices, which are astronomical, it doesn't hit the mark.
"A decent place to try (if you pick the right dishes) but not to return to." Another visitor, Ki Su said: "The dishes are average, the price is expensive, not recommended."
