TOP judges debated whether witnesses and jurors could bring "emotional support" cats and dogs into court with them.
Guide dogs have been allowed in for years but the Criminal Procedure Rule Committee held talks on allowing pets in too.
CPRC member Judge Heather Norton raised the issue, saying "therapy dogs" could be used to calm witnesses.
But a source said it was "highly unlikely" pets would be regularly allowed into court rooms.
