A MISCHIEVOUS young cat had to be rescued after getting stuck at the top of a 23ft tree for two days.
Fire crews spotted Rocky's terrified face poking out from the foliage and used a ladder to bring him down on Tuesday.

The "cold and hungry" one-year-old grey moggy endured strong winds while he was stranded at the "very top" of the tree in the garden of his home in Oldham, Lancs.
Thankfully, Rocky was unhurt after his ordeal and was returned to his relieved owners after being freed from the conifer.
RSPCA inspector Ryan King, who assisted with the rescue, said: "The cat had been trapped up there for two days, and it was a very windy day - you could just make out his little face peeking out and looking very scared.

"He was at the very top and it was swaying quite a lot in the wind.
"I enlisted the help of the fire services who were able to use their ladder to climb up and bring the cat to safety.
"He seemed very grateful - so much so he jumped into his rescuer's arms and let her carry him down and inside the house."
